CHECKLINK AI

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 6, 2026

CheckLink AI helps people inspect suspicious links, domains, and email addresses. We keep the product focused on risk review and do not sell personal information.

Information We Process

We may process links, domains, email addresses, names, company details, website URLs, notes, Launch Board submissions, report requests, suspicious link reports, Official Links requests, and review context you choose to send.

Forms and Email Notifications

Forms may send the information you submit by email to the CheckLink owner through an email provider. Submitted URLs, names, emails, company information, and notes may be included in those owner notification emails.

Some forms may include page/source information such as referrer or UTM campaign parameters so we can understand how requests reached CheckLink. This is submitted only when you send a form and does not require cookies.

Forms may also include anti-spam timing fields and hidden honeypot fields. These help reduce automated spam and are not used as login, account, or advertising cookies.

Widgets, Badges, and Source Data

CheckLink widgets and badges are simple links or buttons, not tracking scripts. They may include UTM parameters so the owner can understand which pages or campaigns led to a request.

UTM and source data is submitted only when you send a form. CheckLink does not use cookies for this source capture.

Trust Lab Tools

QR images in the QR Link Checker are processed locally in your browser when your browser supports local extraction. The Email Link Inspector and Email Header Inspector process pasted text locally in your browser. CheckLink only receives a URL when you choose to scan it.

Bulk checks send selected URLs one at a time to the scanner and do not store bulk scan history. Quick reports are generated in the browser from scanner results and are not stored by CheckLink.

Link Scanner

When you scan a URL, /api/check receives the URL you submit so it can inspect available link, redirect, and domain signals. CheckLink does not store scan history in an application database.

Accounts and Database

CheckLink does not currently provide user accounts, login, or a public user dashboard. The current manual-first lead flow does not store submissions in an application database.

Launch Board Submissions

Product owners may submit software details for manual review. Approved listings are added manually to static Launch Board data. Do not submit passwords, payment card numbers, recovery codes, private keys, or other secrets.

Manual Services

Manual service requests are reviewed before delivery or publication. External providers, if used later, have their own privacy practices. A request does not approve or publish a listing automatically.

Booking Links

If a booking link is configured, it opens an external scheduling provider. That provider has its own privacy and cookie practices.

Analytics

We use privacy-conscious site analytics to understand page performance and usage patterns. This helps us improve the service and fix issues.

External Websites

CheckLink links to third-party websites and may review third-party URLs. External sites have their own privacy policies, security practices, and content.

Data Retention

We keep submitted information only as long as needed to review requests, improve the service, comply with obligations, or protect the site from abuse.
